Sleep ist the most natural thing in the world. But how natural is sleep in modern society? The performance deals with the topic of sleep disorders. In the durational performance the setting of a sleep laboratory is created. The sleeping machine was invented to help distressed people find their sleep in this hectic world. People have to be functional in this world and sometimes we are required to behave like a "machine". Anne Glassner sleeps in a bed and Franziska Koppensteiner draws lines on the floor, like a machine in a laboratory.
